Be the most regulated person in the room.

Hi, I am Aradhana. (pronounced Aradna) A yogi at heart, a regulated leader, hopelessly in love with my beautiful nieces, and permanently with a spring in my step.
After 20 years in corporate, 11 of them in leadership, the secret is no longer a secret. Boardroom & Breathwork™ is my home. You may have only ever seen one side of me. Here is both.
I went looking because things at home were hard. Addiction was in my house, and I was holding a demanding corporate role at the same time, and I was not coping with either as well as I looked like I was. That is far more common than anyone says out loud, which is most of why I am saying it. People always ask why I studied coaching, reiki and everything after. Because the only thought I had in the ick was: surely there is more to life than this. I want to live abundantly.
That quest led me through countless books, endless meditation classes, hours on the mat, music, and a lot of time in nature.
Truthfully it started twelve years ago, the day I taught my first Body Balance class. I loved it enough to take four months off and teach. And I still wanted the white picket fence, so eleven years ago I went back to corporate, straight into a leadership role, because a yoga salary was never going to pay for the million dollar house I was about to build. Eleven years and two big relationships later I can tell you: the house was real, and so was the emptiness I furnished it with.
Here is what I know now, and it might be the most important line in this letter: nothing is ever lost. Not the class I taught twelve years ago. Not the corporate years that felt like a detour. Not even the ick. Every one of them was a room I was building without knowing it, and this week they all connected into one house. The colour of this brand comes from a reading I did seven years ago. The name comes from the two halves I spent a decade keeping apart. It has been full circle moments in the best way possible, one after another, and the circle only closed because I never gave up on the quiet feeling that there was more.
The other thing the journey taught me is that none of it happens alone. Community and collaboration built this. The people at the events who became friends. The friends who became teachers. The strangers who stopped me this week to say you should be doing this. Follow your heart, yes, but let people walk beside you while you do. That is the part nobody puts on the poster.
Last week at a party, I told an engineer that the only ceiling on his sales was the one his beliefs had built. This week he told me he won the contract. He visualised it all. That is what this work does, and it is why I stopped keeping it quiet.
So let me tell you what Boardroom & Breathwork™ actually is, because the name is only half of it. The other half is one word: perspective.
Yesterday I stood on a rooftop with the city skyline on one side and the bay on the other, and a friend said standing here is the best perspective you can ever have. He was right, and not just about the view. Because that is what regulation really is. Not calm as a personality trait. Not wellness as a weekend activity. Perspective: the ability to stand in the middle of a hard quarter, a full inbox, a difficult conversation, and still see the whole picture, the skyline and the water in one frame.
A dysregulated day shrinks your vision to the next email. A regulated one gives you back the horizon. And the leaders who lose their horizon do not just pay for it themselves. They take it home. I have been on the receiving end of that, and it is why this is not content to me. It is prevention.
And here is what I am focusing on now, the truth I want to leave you with today: when you love your work, it does not feel like work. Ever. I built websites and wrote letters and planned launches this week from cafe tables and, honestly, from bed, and every hour of it felt like coming home. That is not hustle. That is alignment. And it is available to you too.
The truth: no matter what you have been through, you are worthy of being happy, loved and at peace. I am here to help you see that. So let us go.
Come as you are. You are more than welcome.
Be the most regulated person in the room. And live abundantly.
with love, grace & gratitude Aradhana x
