This covers both apps, In Her Rhythm © and Lead with Confidence, and every page of this website. One policy, one place. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
The short version. Almost everything you put into the app stays on your phone. There are no accounts and no logins. On this website, the only thing collected is your name and email, and only if you type them in yourself or book a call. Nothing is ever sold, and there are no advertising trackers anywhere.

The following is stored on your device only and is never transmitted to us or anyone else:
Because this never leaves your phone, we cannot see it, access it, or recover it. If you delete the app, it goes with it.
The app offers optional one-time purchases: individual chapters and a full-walk bundle. Purchases are handled by Apple and by RevenueCat, Inc., which we use to validate and restore purchases across your devices. RevenueCat processes an anonymous purchase identifier, receipt information from Apple, and basic device and app information needed to deliver and restore what you bought. It is not used to identify you personally and it is not sold.
How they handle payment data: Apple Privacy · RevenueCat Privacy.
The same principle, and the same answer. Everything you write in Lead with Confidence is stored on your device only. That includes your morning intention, your evening close, your Sunday review, and your leadership profile and pathway stage.
None of it is transmitted to us or to anyone else. We cannot see it, access it or recover it, and if you delete the app it goes with it.
Where the app offers purchases, they are handled by Apple and by RevenueCat, Inc., exactly as described above, which processes an anonymous purchase identifier, receipt information from Apple, and the basic device information needed to deliver and restore what you bought.
This applies only if you joined through an organisation code and you turned on engagement reporting. If either of those is not true, nothing below happens and nothing leaves your phone.
Your organisation's admin receives daily counts of the following, tagged with a random device identifier that is not linked to your name, your email or anything you have written:
Those counts are aggregated across everyone in your organisation. An individual person is never identifiable.
The following stay on your device whatever your settings say, because the pipeline that carries counts has no path for content at all:
You can read every page of this site without giving anything. The only information collected is what you choose to type into a form.
Form submissions are stored by Netlify, who host this site. Netlify also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention. See Netlify's privacy policy.
Every "book a call" and "book a session" button on this site opens Acuity Scheduling, under the Lead with Confidence account. If you book, Acuity holds the name, email and any notes you enter, so that the appointment can exist. Paid bookings are processed by Acuity's payment provider, and card details never reach me. See Acuity and Squarespace privacy.
If you tick the box on the quiz, or subscribe directly, your name and email are added to the In Her Rhythm © letters, which are sent through Substack. That means Substack holds your email address and can see whether you opened something. See Substack's privacy policy.
If you do not tick the box, you are not added. Either way, every letter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and using it removes you immediately and permanently. You never have to ask me.
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It stores one small thing locally in your own browser: a note of which month you last saw the monthly message, so you are not shown it twice. It never leaves your device, it identifies nothing about you, and clearing your browser data removes it.
The two typefaces on this site, Lora and Poppins, are loaded from Google Fonts. That means your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads, and Google receives your IP address and basic browser information as part of it. Google states that Google Fonts does not use this to build advertising profiles. No cookie is set. See the Google Fonts privacy FAQ. If this matters to you, the fonts can be self-hosted instead, and that is on the list.
This site and the app link out to a free community space on Facebook, to Instagram and LinkedIn, to the podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube and Substack, to booking through Acuity Scheduling, and to the App Store. Once you follow one of those links you are with that service under its own terms and privacy policy. None of them receive your app data or your journalling.
Both apps are intended for adults. Neither is directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will remove it.
You can ask what I hold about you, ask for a copy of it, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email me and I will do it, usually the same week. There is no form and no process, it is just me.
If anything changes in a way that affects your privacy, for example if accounts, cloud sync or analytics are added in future, this page and the date at the top will be updated before that version ships.
