Someone asked me that this week, and the honest answer is not a technique. It is what happens when your body finally feels safe enough to receive.

Someone asked me this week how I manifested it.
The room was stunning. Floor to ceiling windows, the city underneath us, a long table already set when I walked in. The food arrived and it was more than we needed. Someone else set the room up. Someone else cleared it. Money was not the thing standing in the way of any of it, and I was fully supported from the moment I said yes.
Her question was genuine, and it deserved a genuine answer rather than a nice one.
So here it is. I did not manifest a room. I spent a long time building the safety to be able to receive one.
Hi lovely. Let us talk about how this actually worked, because it is the most useful thing I have to tell you this week.
One. My body had to stop bracing.
I have written about this before and I will keep writing about it, because it is the part everyone skips. A body that has decided it is not safe cannot let anything land. It runs a permanent low-level scan, it cannot rest, and it cannot receive, because receiving requires opening and opening is the one thing it has ruled out.
For years I was that body. Competent, capable, quietly running on empty, and completely unable to let anything good arrive without immediately looking for what it was going to cost me.
Two. I had to learn to receive.
And here is the part I want to say properly, because I think it gets lost.
Receiving is not a romantic thing. It is not about being given flowers, or being chosen, or letting someone love you. Those are one small corner of it.
Receiving is letting someone else set up the room. It is letting the food be organised without checking on it. It is hearing "we will take care of the rest, you focus on what you are here to do" and actually putting your hands down instead of finding one more thing to be useful about.
That is much harder, and it is the thing I have been practising for years without ever quite calling it practice.
So when you ask me how I manifested that room, the truthful answer is that I did not attract it. I stopped being unable to accept it.
The workshop runs on a framework I built and have been using for six years. It is called S.O.F.T, and it is four movements in order, because the order is the method.
S · See yourself. Where are you, really. Not where you tell people you are. We start with an honest look, because you cannot change something you have not admitted to.
Ask yourself: where am I actually, rather than where I say I am when someone asks how I am?
O · Own your truth. Name what you actually want, rather than what you should want. This is the one that changed everything for me, and I will come back to it.
Ask yourself: what do I want that I have never said out loud, not even to the person closest to me?
F · Feel to heal. Feel it in the body rather than think about it in the head. This is where the room goes quiet and where the real thing happens.
Ask yourself: where is it in my body, right now, as I read this? Be specific.
T · Trust your path. Two or three real steps, and then let go of the timing. Not because timing does not matter, but because gripping it is what stops it arriving.
Ask yourself: what is the smallest step I could actually take this week, and what am I gripping that is not mine to control?
Four movements, four questions. It works in a boardroom and it works at two in the morning when you cannot sleep.
Do not rush them. The whole point is that most of us can answer the first and the fourth easily, and go very quiet at the second and third. Wherever you slow down is where the work is.
If you make me pick one, it is the second.
Because for most of my life I was very good at the first, third and fourth. I could see myself clearly. I could feel things deeply. I could trust a process. What I could not do was say the true thing out loud, especially when the true thing made me look less capable, less grateful, or less fine.
Owning your truth is not a nice idea. It is the load-bearing wall.
The moment I stopped performing being fine, three things happened, and they happened in this order.
My body relaxed, because it was no longer holding a story together.
Because it relaxed, I could receive.
Because I could receive, things arrived.
That is the whole mechanism, and there is nothing magical about it. Manifesting got easier not because I got better at asking, but because I stopped being a woman who could not be given anything.
I think so, and I want to explain why, because it is not the room and it is not me.
They learnt a method they can use again. Not a lovely afternoon, a sequence. See yourself, own your truth, feel to heal, trust your path. They can run it on any part of their lives, on any Tuesday, without me.
They saw themselves with compassionate eyes, some of them for the first time in a long while. That is not a soft outcome. Compassion is what makes honesty survivable, and honesty is what creates safety in the body. You cannot get to the third thing without the first.
And they were held. Not just by me. By each other.
That is the part I keep coming back to. Every woman in that room felt safe enough to let an emotion actually move through her, and the reason was not my facilitating. It was that four other women were sitting there not flinching.
We do not do this alone. It is in community that we grow, and it is in community that we learn to trust our own path, because you borrow the belief from the room until you can generate your own.
They made their own group before dinner. They are meeting again on Friday. Nobody asked them to.
That is the thing I want you to take, if you take one thing.
It is not a mood, it is not a portal, and it is not a list written in nice handwriting. It is the slow, unglamorous work of being honest with yourself about what you actually want and what you have decided you are allowed to have.
And it takes longer than anyone tells you.
The last six years were the runway. Every client, every workshop, every room that was smaller than I hoped, every time I ran the method on myself before I ran it on anyone else. None of it was preparation for something else. It was all the thing.
And on Saturday, I ran it.
I say that with humility, and I also say it, which is new.
Freedom, abundance and worthiness. Your birthright.
